Week 41

 Week 41

Blake and Kylie were on Fall Break this week. Kylie and Jeremy were in Houston until Sunday morning. Blake stayed home with me and hung out at home while I worked. Blake made lots of box forts during the week and he even made one for Chloe. Blake and I also went for a walk everyday between my meetings. It was fun to get one on one time with him to talk. On Friday night I told Blake to Sky Zone. He has been asking to go for almost two years. We had so much fun! All the kids were telling him that I'm a cool mom since I was playing with him. I was racing Blake on the trampolines and a few of the kids asked Blake if they could take a turn racing me. It was really funny. On Saturday, Blake and I went furniture shopping for the new house. We ended up picking out a family room set that we liked.

Kylie had so much fun playing with her cousins all week! They went to a really fun park and went for a bike ride. Jeremy also took her to a really fun farmers market. She picked out really expensive peaches and Jeremy kept trying to convince her to pick something cheaper but she was determined to get the peaches. The Astros were playing while they were there so they watched a lot of baseball.

On Sunday morning they flew home super early! In the afternoon we met the relator at the new house to do the final walk through. This was the first time the kids saw the house and overall they really liked it.

Week 40

 Week 40

This was another week full of working and packing. We did try to get as many scooter rides in as we could so we went scootered to breakfast Saturday morning. This is one of the kids favorite things to do. As soon as they wake up on Saturday they come to our room to ask when we are leaving. haha!

The kids and I started collecting the Disney World 50th Anniversary toys at McDonalds. Since Blake and I were at Disney recently he thought they were really cool. He really wanted Mickey and the two Star Wars ones. So far this was our collection as of this week.

Saturday afternoon Blake and Kylie begged to go swimming. They were so funny because I told them it would be cold but they were convinced it wasn't cold. They got in and I could tell it was cold but they wouldn't admit it. After a few minutes they came running out saying it was freezing. :)

On Sunday, really early, Kylie and Jeremy flew to Houston to visit his family. Josh took them to a few monuments and to where they lived as a kid. Jeremy was able to show Kylie where he grew up and where he went to school. Jeremy also spoiled her with a fun drink!

Blake and I didn't have too much fun. Since Kylie was gone, I spent the entire day packing up all the toys and her room. Blake made a box fort while I packed.

Since Kylie wasn't home, Chloe was attached to Blake. I found them snuggling most of the day.

Week 39

 Week 39

The week was mostly filled with working and packing. Jeremy also was working on projects around the house to try and get the house ready to rent. Packing has been tricky because I know we have so much to pack but still a few weeks till we move. We mostly focused on packing up the shed and pool supplies this weekend. It ended up being a bigger task than we thought.

Saturday morning we went on a family scooter ride. We went to an area in Scottsdale and went along a river to breakfast and then the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. It was a fun trip. The breakfast was really good and the kids loved the mall. We went to the Tesla store and Blake was in heaven.

Saturday afternoon we went to a Diamondbacks game! We went to the second to last game of the season. I made signs with the kids prior to the game and Kylie was SO excited to hold up her sign. We arrived to the field early so we could walk around before the game started. We came across a "yard sale" which was pretty much super discount shirts and jerseys. We purchased a bunch and then headed back to our seats. We saw an area where the players were signing items so we grabbed two of the shirts we just purchased and I ran over with the kids and made it just in time to get one players signature. Blake and Kylie were really into it and were yelling the players names to try and get them to come over. We eventually gave up and sat down.

The game was awesome. The Diamondbacks won! I have really enjoyed watching baseball this year. I didn't miss a single Diamondbacks game. The kids loved playing on the playground and the batting cages. Baxter even came and said hi to Kylie. She was able to convince him to sign her shirt as well. She LOVES Baxter and calls him her little cutie.

Week 38

 Week 38

Blake and Kylie both made the 90's club at school and this year the parents were able to come and watch the ceremony. Kylie's was early morning which Jeremy wasn't able to make but I went to cheer her on. Blake's was around lunch time so Jeremy and I were both able to attend. It was a little emotional for me knowing this was their last time attending since we will be moving soon.

Blake got in a scooter accident. It was pouring down rain and he insisted on going on a scooter ride. I told Jeremy and Blake that it was a bad idea but they went anyways. :) They barely made it down the street and I guess Blake's scooter slide across the road on a turn. Jeremy made him scooter home and I ran to help as soon as I heard Jeremy bang on the door. Blake was ok but lots of bruises and cuts. (This is why he's wearing long pants and long sleeves and standing awkwardly in the picture above.)

We had two birthday parties on Saturday. The first was for one of Kylie's friends at Peter Piper and the second was one of Blake's friends and we were able to drop him off at their house. We rarely get invited to parties but when we do it's funny that they tend to fall on the same day. The kids loved it though and it was a day of fun.

We also went to Home Depot to get moving boxes and we found the kids cart. Blake insisted we document the memory. :)
