33 Weeks

33 Weeks- 4/22/15

 

 

Blake has been really taking off with his crawling! He crawls everywhere now and he's pretty fast. He hasn't tried to go up the stairs yet which is nice. We will need to get a gate really soon though. This week he has been pretty grumpy. I don't think he has been feeling very well. Monday and Wednesday night Blake went to bed a 4:30 and he woke up at 6 the next morning. Not exactly sure what's up with him. Hopefully he starts feeling better though. I miss my happy and playful baby.

 

Thursday was the 16th so we had a firm end of busy season party. We went to Claim Jumper for lunch! It was fun to hang out with everyone! I haven't been able to talk to my friend in a while so it was nice to get to talk to her.

 

Right after the lunch we headed home and changed and then grabbed Blake and headed on our way to Tucson. We stayed in Tucson for the long weekend. We had a ton of fun! Jeremy found a Tucson savings pass so we were able to use a B1G1 Free coupon for most of the activities we did in Tucson.

 

 

Friday morning we went to IHOP for breakfast! It was pretty yummy! We went to a desert museum first. It was mostly like a desert zoo. It was a lot of fun! Blake slept for almost half of it which was nice! I spent a few hours walking around and seeing all the animals.

 

 

Next we went to Old Tucson. We originally thought this might be a waste of money because it was $20 a person but it was a lot of fun! There were a couple rides which were free with admissions so you could ride them as many times as you want. We went on the carousel a bunch of times, the train and the old car ride. They also had a bunch of shows and a haunted mining trail. There was ton of shops and buildings to walk through. There were a bunch of movies that were filmed in the town so they had a museum about all of them. We also had some yummy BBQ for lunch!

 

We went back to the hotel and went swimming. It was a little cold though so we didn't last too long. Blake did like it though. We relaxed for a little bit and then we went mini golfing. Jeremy totally won! Then we hit the batting cages. Jeremy did a few rounds and I did one. We had tamales for dinner which were yummy!

 

We also went to the Titan Missile Museum while we were in Tucson. Blake was having a tough morning so he kind of ruined it but it was still fun! Jeremy said we will go back one day. He liked it more than me. We also found a fire house sub which is my favorite!

 

 

Overall we had a ton of fun!

 

Jeremy had to go out of town on Sunday night for work. This week has been a little rough with having to do everything by myself. But, overall Blake and I made it. I had a routine and it worked great! Besides Blake being a monster every night.

 

32 Weeks

32 Weeks- 4/15/15

 

 

Blake's favorite thing these days is riding in the shopping cart. He LOVES it. So far when he's sitting  in the cart, we don't hear a peep out of him. He loves looking around at everything. He also loves to sit in high chairs at restaurants and he try's to grab anything he can from the table.

This is going to be the most boring post so far. We literally did nothing this weekend. Saturday we ran errands during the day and went out to witch witch for dinner. That sums up our weekend! It was nice to relax though!

31 Weeks

31 Weeks- 4/8/15

Blake keeps getting bigger and bigger. He is still crawling. He isn't taking off as fast as I thought he would. Usually when he learns something new he does it all the time but I don't know if he is just exhausted at the end of the day but man he is a turtle. Which I know I should be happy about but I was excited for him to be crawling everywhere. He is now chewing on his whole hand. All 4 fingers at once. He got a cool tether for Easter and he likes that a lot.

 

We had a SUPER fun weekend! We had the best visitors ever! Josh and Alli came to visit Thursday night! Jeremy and I got home a little before them so we hurried and made dinner. Then we hung out with them in the backyard while it cooked. We ate and then headed to Gateway. We went to the donut shop, Olivia played in the splash pad, we walked around and then Jeremy took Olivia to the candy store! That was really funny! Below are pictures of Blake and Asher meeting for the first time! I think they liked each other! :)

 

Friday Jeremy and I worked and Blake went to daycare. We sent them to Enchanted Island with our Pogo Pass for the day. It sounded like it was fun! I can't wait until Blake is big enough to go. Enchanted Island is a kid amusement park. After they picked up Blake from daycare and met up with Jeremy and I after work. We headed to the mall to see the Easter Bunny! Of course the Easter Bunny was on a break so we had to wait but we had fun walking around and talking. We were about the 4th family in line and they went really fast. The lady was really nice and let us do a couple different pictures with the Easter bunny. We bought the CD so we could get all the pictures. They turned out really cute!

 

Next, we headed to the western town. We were so excited to go to the saloon for dinner but when we got there it said you had to have a reservation. Sad day!! They would have loved it! Instead we walked around the town and then ate at the casino next door. The kids were getting tired so we went home after.

 

Saturday we got up early and headed downtown for breakfast! We took them to our favorite breakfast place!! I think they liked it too! :) We walked around the farmers market and then headed to the zoo. Unfortunately I made a mistake and forgot to bring a bottle so we had to stop to buy one. Once we got to the zoo we got tickets for the train. Our ticket was for 10 so we walked around and then hurried to the train. We were lucky enough to get the last full row on the train! Blake and Asher played and chewed on their fingers during the train ride!

 

 

Blake and Asher fell asleep after the train while we walked around the zoo! It was a ton of fun! We found a kids splash pad to cool off a bit and then went to the monkey exhibit. Which was pretty cool since the monkeys walk around right in front of you. After we cooled off in a monkey exhibit. Next, all the kids rode the carousel! Blake loved it! He held on tight to the bar and when it stopped he started crying! It was so cute! We walked around a little bit more and then headed home so the kids could take a good nap.

 

 

For dinner we went to Hawaiian burger. We originally were going to get a babysitter but we decided it would be easier to just take the kids. The kids were actually really well behaved. Blake sat with us in the booth and played with his toys, Asher sat in his car seat and watched us and Olivia played in the booth. It was fun to watch the march madness games a little and talk. After we had fun playing in the backyard.

 

Easter Sunday was super fun! The kids slept in pretty late compared to the other days. The Easter Bunny came and hid the baskets. Once Olivia got up we had her find her Easter basket. I think she liked it! She got an Elsa dress, lawn mower, and candy. Asher got a few toys and a tummy time mirror. Blake got to find his basket too! The Easter bunny gave him the basket and his awesome Grandma and Grandpa Krass got him all the stuff around the basket including some much needed summer PJ's!

After breakfast we all dyed hard boiled eggs together. Then, Josh and Jeremy hid the eggs and Olivia found them. After, Josh and Alli had to finish packing up and headed on their way! We had so much fun with them while they were here! I know Blake and Chloe miss them! Olivia and Chloe were buds and Asher and Blake were buds!
