25 Weeks

25 Weeks- 2/25/15

Blake has started to get more mobile. He forgets that he can move quite often. If you let him fuss it out he figures out he can do it. His new favorite toy is his wipes. I think it's because it crinkles and slides easily. He started to crawl on Sunday and he was chasing his wipes. He is starting to smile and laugh more. When you smile at him, most of the time he smiles back. He loves it when I give him kisses on the cheek. He thinks it the funniest thing. He has recently started touching Jeremy an I's face an grabbing at it.

This is how he sleeps most nights

Friday after work we went and got Blake and headed to IKEA. We had to return the baskets that we had originally bought for Blake's play room but didn't fit. We got a sweet lamp for the playroom instead. We had dinner at IKEA and then headed to the outlets near a Casino on the east side. I wasn't too impressed. I like our outlets  a lot better. They hardly had any stores that we like. They did have a cool baseball store. We almost bought Blake a baby baseball bat an ball but they didn't have a diamondback one. :(

Saturday we went to work. Then, Blake and went shopping. We went to Target and spent the gift card Blake got from Grandma Krass. He picked out some sweet new toys! I also picked out a new outfit! Then we headed to CVS. I have tried to coupon there once a week. I do it totally for fun now but my hobby does save us a lot of money. I don't go for free stuff as much anymore. Most of the things I get we pay something for but we are saving money on things we need. Like diapers, wipes. etc. We haven't bought any wipes since Blake was born because I couponed for them and got them for free before he was born. Anyways Blake decided to have a little tantrum at CVS but I kept going and got everything I planned and we did pretty good. We paid 4 bucks for everything! That's over $50 savings. :)

After we went with Jeremy to a furniture store. We found a radio shack that was going out of business and picked up some ink for 30% off and a portable speaker for Primary. At the furniture store we got a new rug for Blake's room an a side table for the playroom.

We went to a new pizzeria that just opened up by us for an early dinner. It was pretty yummy! Then, we walked around all the stores. Jeremy got stuff at BestBuy and I couldn't help myself at Old Navy! I have been looking for church shoes for Blake and I found them!! So naturally I had to buy a few outfits to go with them. :)

Sunday Blake slept in till 8 which was nice. I didn't but I got to relax. :) We are starting to get the hang of teaching Primary. I plan all the activities the night before and we decided to just invest money into a Primary bag which has all the supplies we need so we don't have to go to the library every week. It makes it a lot less stressful. Blake did really good falling asleep for his nap. He likes to scream when he's happy and I get a lot of looks but I just need to ignore them because I'm not going to yell at a happy baby.

I couldn't decide which one I liked the most. So I will post all of them. They all show a part of his personality!

After church we went to the park and had a picnic. Blake fell asleep on the way so he didn't get to have fun with us. Jeremy took Chloe over to the dog park while I relaxed with Blake. Surprisingly it was really cold but we still had fun.

Monday after work we took Blake for  walk. He got to be a big boy in his stroller. He really enjoyed the walk. He was looking around everywhere.

24 weeks

24 Weeks- 2/18/15

Blake is learning to move around better and better each day. But still pretty much rolls around. He is still at the same point as last week. Can sit up for a bit, feeds himself his bottles, and rolls both directions.

Friday when I got home from work Jeremy gave me a dozen roses and $100 gift card to PF Changs for date nights. I waited until Saturday to give him his gifts but he got an ipad case, clothes and a red lobster gift card. Blake got 2 books and Chloe got treats. We were all spoiled! We also got a valentines box from grandma! Blake was very spoiled! He can't wait to go to Target to spend his money! :)

Saturday we went to work early and got off at noon. We headed home and hung out with Blake for a bit. He took a good nap and then we headed to PF Changs for an early dinner. Then we went home and I was talking about the play room I wish Blake had. So, Jeremy said lets go get stuff to make one. So, we did. We went to Ikea and Costco. We got the cube organizer at Costco and then bins at Ikea. We spent hours at Ikea and in the end we left with bins. Blake was so good though! He just hung out in his stroller and partied late with us.

Sunday we went to church and that was interesting. We came home and Blake fought his like usual on Sunday's but after a long time he finally went to sleep so Jeremy and I got busy getting his play room together! We made his cube organizer and then I opened all his toys and organized them. We hung up pictures and we were done! Blake woke up and had a play room! We love it so far! Blake and I mostly hang out in there after work and play!

Yesterday morning Blake and Chloe hung out when I got ready.

23 Weeks

23 Weeks- 2/11/15

Blake again has amazed me this week. He has learned so much this week he blew my mind and it's going to blow yours too!! He is now starting to sit up. He's still learning but he can do it for a while. He rolls from his back to his stomach. Which means he rolls everywhere he wants to go. He is never in the same spot that you put him down. He can feed himself his own bottle. He has changed SO much his week. It's amazing how much he has learned. When he wakes up in the morning he just rolls around and moves around his crib for a good hour. Usually he's not crying or anything when I go in to get him ready. He loves to play with his animals in his bed. He is getting close to crawling. He try's really hard when a toy gets out of reach. I think he will be crawling by 6 months and walking by  9, well see.

Thursday Blake had a stomach bug. He was sick during the day and was throwing up and then at night he slept for 3 hours and then cried the rest of the night unless I held him. So, I sat in his chair and held him most of the night. he didn't sleep too much but at least he wasn't crying. Friday we had to bring him to daycare and he slept for 5 hours! After that he was back to normal.

Saturday we didn't do too much. We had to work in the morning. We get there super early so we can come home early to start our weekend. We ran a bunch of errands and purchased a new dishwasher. It gets delivered on valentines day. Sunday we went to church and I didn't feel 100% but I felt like I could push through. I got home and I was sick the rest of the night. Jeremy had to juggle taking care of Blake and I. Luckily it was only a 24 hour thing and I was ok by Monday morning. I wasn't 100% but I struggled my way through work.

Saturday afternoon we all played in the backyard. Chloe and Blake loved it! Blake LOVED the grass it was so fun!

Wednesday Jeremy didn't feel well but he pushed through and then crashed when he got home. Again, Thursday morning he was ok and struggled through work. Hopefully we are done with sickness now.

22 Weeks

22 Weeks- 2/4/15

Horrible picture but it was the best I could get today.

These weeks are going by really fast! Especially now that I get so little time with him. Honestly I feel like I don't know much about what he's doing or learning these days. It breaks my heart. He is really interested in mine and Jeremy's food recently and gets upset when we don't give it to him. He grabs my drinks and almost spills it on me quite often. He recently tried apples and LOVED them! But, since he hasn't been as interested in his bottles so I have had to stop the baby food because he needs to drink his milk. He is starting to sit up a bit.

Friday after work we went on a date to get some dinner and we took Blake with us. He was kind of a pain and threw a fit when he couldn't have my salad so we took it to go and went home. That was a first of many I'm sure. We hung out at home and played until bedtime.

Saturday we got up early and went to breakfast again. Then Blake and I went home while Jeremy hung out at Home Depot. Jeremy fixed our blinds and then we went out for a bit. We went to Texas Roadhouse for lunch and Blake was really good. He played with his toys and didn't make much noise. Since he was so good we took him to BabiesRUs to pick out a toy and get some new things he needed. Then we headed to the stadium area to see what was going on. We parked at the outlets and walked around before heading to the stadium. At the outlets Nike was having a super bowl event. They gave you a pass and then you had to go to 5 stations and they would hole punch your pass. When you got all the hole punches you got a free set of headphones at the Nike store. We didn't end up staying for all the stations but when we went to the Nike store they still gave us the headphones. At west gate we found a cool make your own donut shop so we had to stop. They were really good. I had smores and Jeremy had strawberry something. I can't remember. We walked around and then headed to Home Depot. We almost got a new dishwasher but Jeremy wanted to research it some more so that meant no dishwasher. I'm currently listening to the dishwasher and it doesn't sound too good so maybe we will get one soon.

Blake and I playing while daddy shops

Blake's new car mirror.

Sunday we went to church and then had a little super bowl party with ourselves. We all watched the whole game! It was an awesome game and I loved the ending.

Yesterday Blake was 5 months old and I was so busy I totally forgot! I can't believe he is going to be 6 months in a month! He's going to be a year old before I know it. I love that little guy so much! I hope he know that! He just brightens my horrible days when I'm heading home and I know I get to see him! Most of my days are horrible these days so I really need him! Today was rough. I left work feeling like I'm not worth anything. I feel like I can never do anything fast enough even though I'm working as hard and as fast as I can. When I come home to Blake he makes me feel like I'm good enough and I can tell I'm at least doing a good job as a mom.
