32 Weeks

32 Weeks- 4/15/15

 

 

Blake's favorite thing these days is riding in the shopping cart. He LOVES it. So far when he's sitting  in the cart, we don't hear a peep out of him. He loves looking around at everything. He also loves to sit in high chairs at restaurants and he try's to grab anything he can from the table.

This is going to be the most boring post so far. We literally did nothing this weekend. Saturday we ran errands during the day and went out to witch witch for dinner. That sums up our weekend! It was nice to relax though!

31 Weeks

31 Weeks- 4/8/15

Blake keeps getting bigger and bigger. He is still crawling. He isn't taking off as fast as I thought he would. Usually when he learns something new he does it all the time but I don't know if he is just exhausted at the end of the day but man he is a turtle. Which I know I should be happy about but I was excited for him to be crawling everywhere. He is now chewing on his whole hand. All 4 fingers at once. He got a cool tether for Easter and he likes that a lot.

 

We had a SUPER fun weekend! We had the best visitors ever! Josh and Alli came to visit Thursday night! Jeremy and I got home a little before them so we hurried and made dinner. Then we hung out with them in the backyard while it cooked. We ate and then headed to Gateway. We went to the donut shop, Olivia played in the splash pad, we walked around and then Jeremy took Olivia to the candy store! That was really funny! Below are pictures of Blake and Asher meeting for the first time! I think they liked each other! :)

 

Friday Jeremy and I worked and Blake went to daycare. We sent them to Enchanted Island with our Pogo Pass for the day. It sounded like it was fun! I can't wait until Blake is big enough to go. Enchanted Island is a kid amusement park. After they picked up Blake from daycare and met up with Jeremy and I after work. We headed to the mall to see the Easter Bunny! Of course the Easter Bunny was on a break so we had to wait but we had fun walking around and talking. We were about the 4th family in line and they went really fast. The lady was really nice and let us do a couple different pictures with the Easter bunny. We bought the CD so we could get all the pictures. They turned out really cute!

 

Next, we headed to the western town. We were so excited to go to the saloon for dinner but when we got there it said you had to have a reservation. Sad day!! They would have loved it! Instead we walked around the town and then ate at the casino next door. The kids were getting tired so we went home after.

 

Saturday we got up early and headed downtown for breakfast! We took them to our favorite breakfast place!! I think they liked it too! :) We walked around the farmers market and then headed to the zoo. Unfortunately I made a mistake and forgot to bring a bottle so we had to stop to buy one. Once we got to the zoo we got tickets for the train. Our ticket was for 10 so we walked around and then hurried to the train. We were lucky enough to get the last full row on the train! Blake and Asher played and chewed on their fingers during the train ride!

 

 

Blake and Asher fell asleep after the train while we walked around the zoo! It was a ton of fun! We found a kids splash pad to cool off a bit and then went to the monkey exhibit. Which was pretty cool since the monkeys walk around right in front of you. After we cooled off in a monkey exhibit. Next, all the kids rode the carousel! Blake loved it! He held on tight to the bar and when it stopped he started crying! It was so cute! We walked around a little bit more and then headed home so the kids could take a good nap.

 

 

For dinner we went to Hawaiian burger. We originally were going to get a babysitter but we decided it would be easier to just take the kids. The kids were actually really well behaved. Blake sat with us in the booth and played with his toys, Asher sat in his car seat and watched us and Olivia played in the booth. It was fun to watch the march madness games a little and talk. After we had fun playing in the backyard.

 

Easter Sunday was super fun! The kids slept in pretty late compared to the other days. The Easter Bunny came and hid the baskets. Once Olivia got up we had her find her Easter basket. I think she liked it! She got an Elsa dress, lawn mower, and candy. Asher got a few toys and a tummy time mirror. Blake got to find his basket too! The Easter bunny gave him the basket and his awesome Grandma and Grandpa Krass got him all the stuff around the basket including some much needed summer PJ's!

After breakfast we all dyed hard boiled eggs together. Then, Josh and Jeremy hid the eggs and Olivia found them. After, Josh and Alli had to finish packing up and headed on their way! We had so much fun with them while they were here! I know Blake and Chloe miss them! Olivia and Chloe were buds and Asher and Blake were buds!

7 Months

7 Months- 4/3/15

 

Blake is 7 months old!

   *He is wearing 9 month clothes (6-9 months)

*He loves his bouncer
 *He sleeps really good in the car/car seat
   *He loves to stare at people
*He takes about 2-3 naps a day
*He LOVES Chloe
 *He drinks 4-6oz. at a time
 *He recognizes Jeremy and I

*He's becoming more independent

*He rolls/crawls/scoots everywhere

*He sleeps through the night- most nights

*He loves anything that lights up

*He loves it when people sing to him

*He loves toys
* His hands are almost always in his mouth
*He loves to grab his feet and chew on them

*He LOVEs Apples, Pears, Squash, peaches and Sweet Potatoes

*He is always trying to eat or drink our food

*He has 2 teeth. Both middle teeth.

*He loves attention

*He loves to watch TV

*He can sit up for the most part now

* He's crawling now

*Sleeps on his tummy with his butt in the air

*He loves to go for walks

*He loves his binky again
*He loves water and swimming
*Bath time is becoming more fun

*Favorite thing to crawl to is Chloe's water bowl
 

30 Weeks

30 Weeks- 4/1/15

 

Blake has been growing like crazy! He is getting bigger and gaining weight again which is awesome! His 3-6 month clothes are getting tight and he fits in his 6-9 month clothes so he has definitely grown this past month. He is mobile now. He half crawls and half scoots! He gets around and gets what he wants though. He is becoming happier and more independent! He's happy playing with his toys by himself now which is nice! He laughs and smiles all the time. If you smile at him he will give you a big smile back! He loves to go swimming and walks.

 

On Saturday we got up early and went for a long walk before it got too hot. Then we got ready and went to breakfast at a Mexican restaurant. Next was the Easter party at BabiesRUs. It was during Blake's nap time so he was a little grumpy! At the party they made goodie bags which had samples in them, pictures with the giraffe, story time, and then the raffles. We didn't win. We came close though. lol

 

After, we went home so Blake could take a good nap. We just hung around the house and watched TV. I was so bored so I convinced Jeremy to go to Gate way with me! Blake kept teasing me and waking up and then falling back asleep so it felt like forever till we got to go. When we got there the bunny was on break. So we walked around. There was a motorcycle show going on so we walked through that. We had just bought a stroller fan for Blake so we tried it out. You have no idea how many people talk to you and touch your arm when you have a fan on your stroller. Everyone thought it was the smartest idea! lol We ended up getting a smoothie at the healthy shop and then doughnuts at the make your own doughnut shop! Then we saw the Easter bunny! Blake just sat there like it was normal. lol

 

We took a shuttle over to the outlets after and bought Jeremy some work clothes and Blake some shorts. Then we had to walk back. Man it's getting hot here already. I'm super sad! I wanted a longer break from the heat. I feel like it's so much worse when you have a kid because I just feel terrible that he is so hot. He doesn't complain which is nice!

 

Sunday after church and Blake's nap we went swimming! I was scared that Blake would think it was too cold but he warmed up to it. It took a minute for it to become fun but he loved it. He played with daddy for a while and then he lounged around in his swim tube, which he loves! It has a blow up monkey on the front so I turned it around so it's facing him and he loves to lay on it and play with it! Jeremy and I can't believe how much has grown up since the last time he went swimming 2 weeks ago. We had to hold him up the whole time last time and this time it was perfect! He had complete control! Blake took a nap after and then we went for a long walk. Blake seems to love walks but I can't get him to smile for the life of me. Crazy kid!

So, Wednesday night I put Blake in the hallway while I got the bath ready for him. I sat there and watched him crawl all the way to the bathroom. I called Jeremy but he couldn't hear me. So, I moved him back once Jeremy was there and he did it again. After his bath I had him crawl around our bedroom. I can't believe how fast he is learning things! Monday and Tuesday he started pulling himself with his arms and then today he is crawling. He doesn't crawl away the second you put him down but he does when he wants something.
