Week 28
This week was fairly uneventful but at the same time very hard. Our A/C continued to not keep up this week. The evenings were hot but in the morning the house was a little cooler. Jeremy pulled the plug on Monday and decided to have a new installed. The earliest our A/C guy could come was Thursday. Jeremy works out of the house on Thursdays so Blake and I handled getting the new A/C installed. Blake was able to see the huge crane come and take out the old A/C and then bring in the new one. I was in a meeting so I missed it. :(
We started off the week with a fun family night. Monday night we all went bowling. We were able to get two lanes which was nice so the kids could have their own lane. The kids always have so much energy and go crazy bowling. I don't know what it is but they struggle to sit still and behave. When I asked Blake to sit down to wait for his turn he decided to come up with a fun statue. :) After bowling we went to the new Chick Fil A near us for dinner.
Blake has really enjoyed playing chess ever since his grandpa taught him. He found a new friend (Chloe) to play with. :)
Friday night we had another family night. We decided to try out ihop. We have heard a lot about the $5 evening menu so we decide to give it a try. We had pop-it competitions while we waiting for the food. Somehow my kids haven't asked for a pop-it until recently and now we have too many. haha! Jeremy loved the food but really he loved the price. The kids seemed to like it but it wasn't my favorite. They didn't have any choices I liked on the cheap menu and the rest of ihop just seems overpriced for the quality. I think ihop will be a fun place for the kids to go with dad. :)
Saturday was our traditional swim lessons and then swimming at home. Kylie really improved this week. She attempted to swim the long length of the pool for the 1st time and she did it with no assistance. Then the kids swam around and had fun together.
