Week 15 2022

Week 15

Blake started the week off sick. We never did determine what was wrong but he started to feel better on Tuesday. Wednesday, Blake had soccer practice so I tried to make it a little fun and we picked up dinner and headed to practice early so Blake and Kylie could play at the park. Kylie loves coming to watch his practice because one of her friends is usually there so they get to play. 

On Friday, the kids had an early release day so I decided to take them to Uptown Jungle. I surprised them and invited two of their friends to come with us too! They all had so much fun and it was really nice to be able to work while watching them play with friends. 

Saturday was a fun filled day! It started with a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. They hid eggs at all 64 parks in the neighborhood and they even hid 10 "Golden" eggs for the adults which had gift cards to local stores. We looked for the Golden Eggs but had no luck. The kids had so much fun at the Easter Egg Hunt! I've been trying to be better about living in the moment so I didn't take very many pictures this weekend. 

After the neighborhood party, we headed to a local park for a church Brunch and Easter Egg Hunt. We had a ton of fun and the kids had a blast playing with their friends. Kylie and Blake had a meltdowns during the Easter Egg Hunt which was embarrassing but we got over it. 

We came home and Jeremy worked on installing a large A/C unit in his gym. I'm working on an organization project for the kids games, so I worked on my project with Kylie's help. After, we headed to the neighborhood pool for our first time. It ended up being really windy so we didn't last long but Blake found a group of girls from his school class and had fun playing with them. Kylie swam around by herself and went from pool to pool. We agreed that we would go back the next weekend that it hits 100 degrees. 

Saturday night, the Easter Bunny came and hid Blake and Kylie's baskets. They woke up early and found them and started playing with their new stuff. 

We snapped a few fun Easter pictures after church.

Kylie and I watched the first Phoenix Suns playoff game! I ordered us matching playoff shirts and they arrived Sunday morning! Kylie was SO excited!
