November 2020
We found a fun park to play and have a picnic. There was a huge rope climbing tower that the kids and Jeremy had fun climbing. Jeremy ended up climbing all the way to the top.
One of Blake's art projects was displayed in his school lobby!
We flew to Houston for a week for Thanksgiving. I had a lot of anxiety traveling and being around a lot of people. Thankfully the flight to Houston was nonstop and we flex Southwest and at the time they did not book the middle seat. Blake and Jeremy sat in one row and Kylie and I saw in the row across from them. The flight went by pretty fast. We arrived in Houston pretty late but we stopped at Bukee's for a late night snack. The kids loved it!
Our first morning on the land we went for a ride to see the cows. The kids took turns driving with Grandpa which they loved! Kylie LOVED petting the cows. They found a little "mountain" to climb. Kylie also loved playing with the cats.
One night Jeremy and I spent in Austin, TX. It was so fun to spend a day together and relax. We rented scooters downtown by the river. It was super fun until Jeremy realized how much they were and then we took a break and walked. We ended up renters scooters to take us back to the hotel which was really fun! We grabbed some Mexican food to eat at the hotel while watching football. We went for a late night fun for milk and cookies! The next morning we both worked out in the gym which was nice. It was very low key which was exactly what we needed.
We went to the Blue Bell factory for ice cream and the kids had their own table. It was fun to watch them interact and have their own conversations.
The kids LOVED playing with all their cousins and getting to know those that they don't get to see very often.
When we arrived home from Houston, Jeremy's biggest Christmas present was delivered which was a Traeger grill/smoker! I have been trying to convince him to get one for a few years but he has not been interested until recently. I'm so excited for him to cook us delicious food with it!
Our last event in November was Christmas at the Princess in Scottsdale. It included a Polar Glide Ice Slide, carousel, letters to Santa, and lots of fun lights to look at. The kids LOVED the Polar Glide Slide. They enjoyed writing letters to Santa and putting them in the mail box.
