Week 39
The week was mostly filled with working and packing. Jeremy also was working on projects around the house to try and get the house ready to rent. Packing has been tricky because I know we have so much to pack but still a few weeks till we move. We mostly focused on packing up the shed and pool supplies this weekend. It ended up being a bigger task than we thought.
Saturday morning we went on a family scooter ride. We went to an area in Scottsdale and went along a river to breakfast and then the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. It was a fun trip. The breakfast was really good and the kids loved the mall. We went to the Tesla store and Blake was in heaven.
Saturday afternoon we went to a Diamondbacks game! We went to the second to last game of the season. I made signs with the kids prior to the game and Kylie was SO excited to hold up her sign. We arrived to the field early so we could walk around before the game started. We came across a "yard sale" which was pretty much super discount shirts and jerseys. We purchased a bunch and then headed back to our seats. We saw an area where the players were signing items so we grabbed two of the shirts we just purchased and I ran over with the kids and made it just in time to get one players signature. Blake and Kylie were really into it and were yelling the players names to try and get them to come over. We eventually gave up and sat down.
The game was awesome. The Diamondbacks won! I have really enjoyed watching baseball this year. I didn't miss a single Diamondbacks game. The kids loved playing on the playground and the batting cages. Baxter even came and said hi to Kylie. She was able to convince him to sign her shirt as well. She LOVES Baxter and calls him her little cutie.
