Cruise - Day 2 (3/8/20)
Sunday morning, we woke up and slowly got ready. Blake and
Jeremy headed to the hotel gym while Kylie and I got ready. After, we walked
around the downtown area and came across a small crepe restaurant. It was
really good! They had the best smoothies! Kylie was pretty antsy so we went on
a few walks while we were waiting for the food. We ended up ordering way too
much food but it was all really good!
Next, we packed the car back up and got
all the suitcases ready to bring on the cruise. We drove to the loading station
and dropped off all of our bags. We parked the car back at the hotel and walked
over to the boat. We were all so excited at this point! We got in line to go
through security which wasn’t too bad. The kids struggled a little but the line
moved fast. After security we were able to walk right on the boat!
The first thing we did was go checkout our rooms! We decided to splurge (for us) and get two interior rooms with adjoining doors! The kids had their own room with two twin beds and Jeremy and I had our own room. The kids had fun exploring the room and seeing the towel animal. Next, we went to the lido deck to grab lunch. We decided to try the taco bar which was really good! Probably my favorite option at the lido deck. Kylie loved the music and did a lot of dancing!
After lunch, Jeremy and Kylie went back to the cabins and took a nap. Blake and I decided we wanted to party and went to the sail away party. It was SO much fun! We danced at the top level and then went down to the main party and joined in the dancing. Blake had a blast!
The kids joined us for dinner and enjoying picking anything they wanted. We learned that Blake loves spaghetti which we never have at home because Jeremy and I are not fans. We will have to start making it for him now.
We stayed up late and went to Family Bingo at Camp Ocean! This was probably my favorite activity on the ship. Blake and I were a team and Jeremy and Kylie were a team. They made it so fun for the kids and Blake won an award from his dance moves! After we grabbed some fun drinks at the bar and then ice cream! We stayed up till 11:30pm and had fun talking as a family while eating our ice cream!
