I forgot to post about a week in March. Jeremy was out of
town doing a payroll audit for most of the weekend so I planned a fun weekend
for Blake and I. We started by going to chick-fil-a for dinner Friday night.
Blake got his own kids meal and he played in the play area. I let him play
first this time and then he ate but he ate really fast and he didn’t eat it all
so he could go play again. He didn’t understand that you can’t bring the food
in the play area so I threw away most of the leftover food. There was an older
kid in the play area with him and he kept scaring Blake because he would climb
things and then jump off. We headed out and Blake threw a tantrum.
Saturday we hung out most of the morning. I made
breakfast and then he played for a little while before taking a nap. After his
nap we went to Westgate. We started by seeing the Easter bunny. He cried so
hard. Jeremy thinks it’s funny so I had to get a picture of it. Then we went to
play in the water area but Blake got scared and didn’t want to. He was crying
to get back into the stroller which never happens. We stopped at Dave and
Busters next. We played a few games. He really liked the snow game because it
was low enough that he could stand there and play it. Of course he cried when
it was time to leave. Next we headed to the outlets. We got daddy a present and
he picked out some cute PJ’s for his sister. We ended the fun at Nestle
Tollhouse and eat had a cookie. He really liked the cookie.
On the way home we stopped at the park. He loves the
park! He will just climb up the stairs and go down the slide 10 times in a row.
He ran around the field and chased the ducks as well.
Sunday afternoon we went for a family walk to the park.
Blake had a lot of fun playing with daddy.
