November Activities:

I can’t believe how long it has been since I last updated. So much has changed in our lives since I last wrote so there will be many posts coming.

2^nd Visit to the Fair: We headed back to the State Fair 2 days before it closed. We went on the last Saturday before they closed. We let Blake feed the animals at the fair. To be honest I was probably more scared of them then Blake was. He wasn’t scared of them at all. He pretty much just stared at them. Jeremy and I mainly fed the animals.

Next we hurried to the monster truck show. Blake LOVED it! He stood on the bleachers the whole time and watched. Everyone around us made comments about how well he was doing. He wasn’t scared of the loud noises at all. I’m scared this is what he’s going to want to do. :/ After we went to a stupid Alien exhibit. Jeremy bought tickets for it so we thought we should at least walk through it. Jeremy enjoyed trying to scare Blake though.

Enchanted Island: We took Blake to Enchanted Island one weekend. It’s an amusement park designed for 2 year olds. Since Blake is tall for his age he was able to ride on a lot of the rides. He went on a few rides by himself. Jeremy and I were shocked how well he did. He went a car ride, plane ride, bumper boats (his favorite), carousel and train. After we walked around the park for a while. I’m thinking this would be a fun spot for his birthday party next year, we’ll see.

Around the house: Blake loves to play outside. He prefers to go through the dog door, which he usually does. You can usually find him sitting by the gate looking at the ducks or playing with Chloe. He cries when it’s time to come in so I usually make Jeremy go out with him since they both like to be outside.

 

Visitors:  Kristina and Eric came to visit us the weekend before Thanksgiving. Blake got to spend some fun time with his cousins. We went to the park where they played on the playground. After we had pizza and then donuts at Westgate. The Cardinals were playing later in the day so we were able to participate in some of the pregame excitement. Blake was scared of the huge blow up cardinal. Jeremy thought it was so funny so of course he had to torcher him. After we hung out at home and had hamburgers followed by the Cardinals game. It was a fun short visit.

Thanksgiving: Jeremy and I both really enjoy black Friday shopping. This year I tried to get everything online but wasn’t able to get everything. We enjoy going to JcPenny’s because they give out free coupons. Then we pretty much did our separate things. I ended up going to Best Buy with Blake and Jeremy went to places by himself. We had thanksgiving dinner at home. I decided to buy a turkey last minute but from now on we are going out. It’s so much more relaxing.
