Day 1 of the Cruise

Day 1:

Our boarding time was 12:30-1:30. They said if you come at your specific time you shouldn’t have to wait in a long line. We arrive and saw a line and got in it. We ended up skipping the step of checking our bags. We ended up bringing them onto the cruise ourselves. It wasn’t too bad considering we didn’t have to wait for them to arrive at all. The line to get checked in and get on board ended up being about an hour and a half. Once we got on board we brought our bags to our room and then walked around the ship. The first thing we did was buy a soda card and grab lunch. After, we found some beach chairs and relaxed while the ship left the port.

 

After, we ended up taking a nap and slept for a few hours! We barely made it in time for dinner, but we did. We shared a table with another couple around our age. They had 2 kids and one on the way. They live in Denver, Co and he actually worked for a Local Union. At first we thought maybe he worked for a union that the firm we work for audits but he doesn’t. We had a really fun time getting to know them! Dinner was delicious too!

After dinner we went to the game area and watched some football and played mini golf!

 

Next, we went to the jeopardy game. They had a few rounds and they called up people from the audience to play. I kept trying to convince Jeremy to go up and finally he decided he would and they actually picked him. He did an awesome job and I had so much fun watching him!

That night they had a welcome show which was awesome! Following the show we went to a comedy show. It was a fun night! Since we stayed up so late we decided to get some pizza! The pizza was SO good! It was all made fresh right when you ordered it, which meant there was always a long line but it was worth it!

We came back to a fun towel animal!
