12 Months

12 months- 9/3/15

 

Blake is a year old! It went by so fast! It feels like only a few months ago he was born. I can't believe how much he has changed and learned in a year. Jeremy and I came up with a list that describes him pretty well.
 

*He is 32.25 inches tall, 41cm head, and 23 pounds 12 oz.

*He can say: mama, dada, daddy, baby, Hi, and bye

*He waves with both hands- it’s the cutest thing ever

*He used to high five

*He has taken up to 10 steps at a time by himself

*He can walk holding one hand

*He loves bananas, sandwiches, puffs, honey nut cheerios, eggs, pickles, bread, lemons, limes and pretty much anything we give him

*He loves to sleep- He has slept through the night since he was 3 months old

*He currently has blonde hair but he was born with dark brown hair

*He loves Chloe

*He loves to climb on toys and toys that have lights or music

*He loves the introduction to Clifford

*He likes peekaboo

*His favorite song is The itsy bitsy spider

*Sometimes he smiles with his eyes closed really tight- super cute

*Every night he gets a cup of puffs and Blake and Chloe enjoy them together

*Most of the time you will find Blake hanging on Jeremy’s chair or on my legs- I guess he LOVES us that much!! :)

*He loves bath time

*He doesn’t like to sit still to get his diaper changed

*He hates hats and takes them off as soon as you put them on.

*He doesn’t like shoes- He curls his toes in making it impossible to get shoes on him

*He loves swimming

*Sometime he cries so hard (when he’s tired) that nothing comes out- Jeremy thinks it hilarious! 

*He loves books (Opening/Closing and turning the pages)

*Most people think he’s a serious baby but really he’s really shy and is a happy and funny kid when he gets to know you

*He’s obsessed with slides- He likes to climb up them and then slide down

*He loves to be thrown in the air

*He recently became fond of his Grandpa Paul- they were inseparable on his recent visit. Blake thought he was the coolest! It was cute seeing them together.
